Fall Pottery
GREENWARE
I've learned some official pottery terms. "Greenware" means it hasn't been fired at all yet. It will dry hard to "bonedry", but it's fragile in this state and is technically still reclaimable, meaning it will reabsorb water and eventually turn back into clay that can be manipulated or thrown.

Ceramics
Ceramics have been bisque fired. Which is the first firing. In this stage, the pieces are porous (not water tight) and quite fragile.
The white pieces below are prior to glazes. All the glazes we used were red or grey prior to firing but then change colors in the kiln.
Final Glazed Pottery
[some pieces are still waiting for their final firing]
wheel throwing, hand building, sculpture, glaze, ceramic, clay
